Adding Images

1. Login to the site go to the My Details section, then to Documents, then Documents again. (Note: If you have a resources menu Documents may be located there instead.)

2. Click on the Add New Document link text on the left in the dark blue banner about halfway down the page.

3. Fill in the image details on the Main Details tab, see below:

  • Caption: label/title of the image as it appears below the image in the gallery.
  • Show Order: This defaults to 100. If all images are the same order then they show alphabetically.
  • Show on website (checkbox): This is an important one. If this isn’t checked the image will not show up on the site/page.
  • Expiry Date: This date controls how long the image shows for so you may want to bump this out (we usually set it out to 2099).

4. Click on the Choose File button under the date (see above) and browse to and select the image you want to upload. You may get a pop-up after selection…

5. Click the OK button.

The name of your image should now appear next to the Choose File button.

6. Switch to the second tab, Description and fill in the remaining details.

Note: These fields are not always visible in the gallery depending on your website but are required fields so must be filled.

  • Short Description: This is the text that appears below the image and title, once it is opened. If you don’t want to enter a full description, just cut and paste the image Caption from the first tab.
  • Long Description: This is rarely used but is a required field so copy the image Caption here.

7. Click Save in the upper right hand corner.

8. The image should now show up in the list, and if set up correctly, on your website.
